Hotel Information
Blocks of rooms have been reserved at
the Embassy Suites, the Holiday Inn and the Town House Minisuites
Motel. These are listed in decreasing order of price. To get the
listed price, say you are coming for "WiegandFest" the math conference at the
University. Disclaimer: When you make your reservations, be sure
you get the kind of room you want, that is, don't assume they all are
as described below. We ask that those willing/able share a room, so that
our funds will go further. If you are in need of a roommate, please

The liveliest part of town
(restaurants, bars, coffee houses) is the Haymarket, centered at 8th
and P (and marked with a red star on the map). The Mathematics
Department is in Avery Hall, at 12th and T. There are 14 blocks per
mile in Lincoln. Thus, for example, it is just under a mile from the
Town House to Avery Hall. Click here

Embassy Suites:
11th and P. Each room is really two separate rooms, one with a bed and
one with a queen-size sofa-bed, so two people fit comfortably. A full
breakfast is included. 5 blocks from Avery Hall.

Town House Minisuites:
Each room is really sort of two rooms (though they are not separated
by a door), one with a bed and one with either a sleepable-on sofa or
a bed. This works fine for two people. Each room has a kitchenette.
